UAB’s participation in this project will be carried out by the Signal Processing for Communications and Navigation (SPCOMNAV) group, which is part of the Department of Telecommunications and Systems Engineering of UAB. SPCOMNAV is one of the handful European research groups specializing in positioning with terrestrial and satellite signals. The group has a long track record of R&D projects with the European Space Agency (ESA), the European Commission (EC), the European Union Agency for the Space Programme (EUSPA) and other international and national funding bodies.
