Last September 27th took place the SRR, System Requirements Review, for the GERMINAL project, with the participation of EUSPA and GERMINAL consortium representatives. In this meeting, which was held online, the requirements for both the Hybrid terminal and the IoT terminal where discussed. First, the target Applications for both terminals were discussed as well as their User Needs. Then, the requirements for each of the important technologies that the final products will make use of (GNSS, 5G, LEO-PNT, LEO-SOP, IoT) were introduced by experts in those areas. All the documents that had to be delivered for this milestone were promptly reviewed.
Everything is set for the next important milestone of the project, the PDR or Preliminary Design Review.
